Eastern Sierra Rod Makers Gathering 2010

Scheduled for October 8th, 9th & 10th 2010

The fourth annual Eastern Sierra Rod Makers Gathering will be held on the 8th, 9th & 10th of October 2010 on Bridgeport Lake. Check-in and breakfast will start at 8:00am on the 9th with discussions, demonstrations and casting to follow. Feel free to drop by on Friday night the 8th for casual discussions, hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The price is $35.00 which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Click to download the registration form) Saturday is the main gathering day. Breakfast will be served at 8:00am, with lunch and a gormet dinner. Discussion will start after rod casting (please bring new and old bamboo rods with reels and line to cast). The agenda has not been finalized, but here is what is planned to so far: 1. Daryll Whitehead - Presentation on rod finishing. 2. Chuck Irvine - Presentation on rod finish polishing. 3. Larry Tusoni - Presentation of the new RodDNA Designer program. The address of the gathering is 303 Lakeside Drive, Bridgeport, California. Take Highway 395 to Bridgeport. If you are coming north on Highway 395, take a right on to Highway 182 towards Bridgeport Lake. If you are coming south on Highway 395, lake a left on to Highway 182 just after your cross the brige over the East Walker river. In about 3 miles, you will see a "Bridgeport gun club" sign on the right. Take a left just after the sign on the gravel road close to the telephone pole. I will put out a sign indication the gathering.
